1. Observe fast every day

Only children below the age of 14 years, pregnant women, elderly people, those travelling long distances and people who are unwell are exempt from fasting. 

2. Pray regularly

Praying at least five times every day at a specified time is mandatory for Muslims. If any of these prayers are skipped, fasting is not accepted by Allah. These prayers must be performed with the sole intention of seeking blessings from god. There are different prayers for different rewards or purposes, such as breaking a fast and asking forgiveness. 

3. Recite Quran

Many Muslims read the entire Quran during this month as Ramadan was when the holy book was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Muslims are advised to recite the Holy Quran during the sacred month. They should recite at least one of the 30 parts into which the Quran is divided every day. 4. Do not fight
