Difference Between G CSF Elisa and EGF Elisa

Must read

Granulate Colony Stimulation Factor or G-CSF is a glycoprotein used in the body. It stimulates the bone marrow to produce granulocytes and stem cells. A protein encoded by this gene is found in many tissues of various animals, but at highest expression levels in immune cells such as macrophages and endothelium. G csf elisa is a well-known diagnostic tool used by scientific researchers, drug companies and biotechnology laboratories to identify G-CSF proteins for therapeutic use. G CSF elisa is also known as Colony Stimulation Factor or CSF3, Granular Colony Stimulation Factor or GSFCSF [Granulate Colony Stimulation Factor] or Colony Stimulating Factors 3. This protein is made by several cells in the body like macrophages and endothelium but its amount varies depending upon the location causing an immune reaction from the body.

The protein level of Granulate Colony Stimulation Factor can be measured in the immune cell types of the erythroid lineage, the precursor cells of red blood cells. The production and release of this protein can be increased by salivary gland tumors such as Sjögrens syndrome, inflammation, and infection with parasites. Granulate colony stimulation factor is a B cell-specific protein that increases more often than not in malignancies. In autoimmune diseases, however, its levels are exaggerated.

C-FOS (Colony-stimulating factor 3, CSF-3) is a secreted protein that enhances the survival of hematopoietic stem cells in bone marrow. This is essential for maintenance of the blood’s ability to renew, even in adult vertebrates. C-FOS belongs to the colony-stimulating factor family. In humans, it is encoded by the CSF3 gene. This gene is located on 5p12, a region often deleted by chromosomal abnormalities associated with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and other malignancies. It encodes a protein with actin/pleckstrin homology domain, EGF like repeats and its expression can be upregulated by different factors such as interferon gamma and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Increased serum levels of C-FOS have been observed in patients suffering from infection, multiple sclerosis or bone cancer. Such increases were also reported in the sera of animals following injection of LPS or administration of bacterial endotoxins or when suffering from conditions associated with tissue inflammation such as: arthritis, lupus erythematosus, ocular inflammatory diseases or orbital inflammatory masses arising from infection.

Epidermal growth factor (EGF), a founding member of the egf elisa family of proteins is a 6 kilodalton protein belonging to the EGF-protein family. EGF binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and stimulates cell growth and differentiation . In humans, this protein is made of 53 amino acid residues and its tertiary structure is held together by 3 intramolecular disulfide bonds. Researchers first identified EGF in human urine and mice submaxillary glands as a secreted protein. Since then, EGF has been found in tears, saliva, milk, plasma, and tissues, including the parotid gland and submandibular gland-urogastrone or its trade name Heberprot-P.

When it comes to the treatment of stomach ulcers, there’s a lot more than just ulcers. The symptoms of stomach ulcers vary depending on age, weight and sex. The range and severity of symptoms is so broad it is often known as “the great imitator.” At HEBER PROT-P we claim that if you are taking several medications and they are not working or you want to improve your quality of life. Our product Heberprot-P is designed for protecting the gastric mucosa by reducing its acidity and by stimulating the innate defense system. We offer free medical advice to help you understand the best course of action for your condition.
